Is this fixable? I found my old Pokemon diamond cart and looks like my parents let a dog chew on it. Any help is appreciated

    1. Okay so… i’m really not sure abt what I’m gonna say but it seems like from what I can see, the only part of the PCB that has been damaged is the contact from the game to the DS, which means according to my theory, there’s a chance that if you open the game’s “case” (I think it’s hard to do, even more without hurting the PCB) and find a replacement plastic part on AliExpress (since these kind of chinese websites are probably the only ones to potentially sell that kind of things) to put the game in, you MIGHT have a working copy (if it doesn’t work, maybe find a way to fix the golden part that connects to the console)

Best case scenario, you need to replace the shell. Worst case, you need a new board, new chips, and a new shell.

Those deep puncture marks on the edge don’t give me much hope for what you will find inside.

    3. You would need to take the board out of the shell and send a pic of the board to test for sure.
