I got a New 3DS today and it looks basically brand new, original battery, everything in perfect condition, and the cover plates are original with zero marks. The stylus even has the Nintendo logo.
No complaints at all, I just noticed it’s missing the serial number. I’ve had a few US-region consoles before and they all had one.
Since the AR cards that came with it are printed, I’m wondering if the box might be a repro too. Not that it really matters, just curious.

I believe Japanese new3DS don’t have serial numbers on the box, but on a warranty paper that should be with the paperwork and manual it comes with. Let me know if this is the case because I’ve never actually confirmed it.
