Metalmacher on April 1, 2026 9:57 am so long as they keep the design of the internal ssds with the heatsinks i’m good, still rocking my sabrent
Johnny0230 on April 1, 2026 9:58 am I hope the price is at most the same as the Pro when it first came out. Given the times, it would still be reasonable.
Wipedout89 on April 1, 2026 10:09 am But that is an upgrade on the PS5 launch model, which launched with 825GB
DinnerSmall4216 on April 1, 2026 10:09 am Can understand they want to cut costs but the pro is 2tb at £700 will the ps6 really be 1tb nearer to £900.
TrebleShot on April 1, 2026 10:09 am The hubris of Sony is outstounding. They are making a lot of stupid moves, Im sure it will all be okay though.
Relevant_Session5987 on April 1, 2026 10:11 am Genuine question – should I upgrade to a PS5 Pro now or just wait for a PS6? I know for a fact that if I get a Pro now and if the PS6 releases in 2027, then I’m not going to get the PS6 atleast for another 2-3 years after that. Just confused on what to do. My base PS5 works fine as it is but I am also beginning to get a bit of the FOMO with the whole PSSR2 of it all.
