Is it stupid to sell my Mario red OLED Switch for a V1 Switch?
I just want a bit of extra cash and honestly I prefer the look of the v1 than the OLED tbh. I don’t think that handheld games really look that well on the OLED

V1 switch is worse in every possible way. Build quality, screen quality, screen size, kick stand, battery life, and even processor speed due to a small refresh they did. Unless you NEED the cash, stick with what you have. It’s also just a pain in the ass to try and sell electronics.
Source: I had a V1 switch until it died and then bought an OLED.

“Is it stupid” yes. Just turn off the vivid color settings and it will look much better. By default, on the OLED, vivid is on and I didn’t like it either.
navigate to System Settings > System > Console Screen Colors and select Standard

100% a stupid move. It’s literally a downgrade.
The games probably don’t look great because it’s a 720p 30hrz screen, plus games just run worse in handheld mode.
