Depends on the game. Monster Hunter is infinitely more approachable with proper camera controls, but I can’t think of any other games that appreciate the C-Stick as much. (Mostly cause I almost exclusively play monster hunter)
The C-Stick was included to replace the Circle Pad Pro add-on of the original 3DS series, but there are some games that are compatible with the C-Stick and NOT the Circle Pad Pro. I couldn’t easily find a reliable list though.

Toad Treasure Tracker is infinitely easier to play with one!
(You need to change the camera angles a LOT while using both hands to control your character, and without the nub you have to do that via touchscreen.)

for like 99% of games no. however there are some games like (from the top of my head) monster hunter, minecraft 3DS edition and kid icarus it does. And if the game officially supports the circle pad pro kit then it will support the nub.

Its like playing a PSP vs a PS Vita
Only the “new” series have it. Honestly there are [not many games](https://nintendo.fandom.com/wiki/List_of_games_that_use_the_Circle_Pad_Pro) that made use of it.
