I’ll give it a go before bed, runs great on my phone too. Warframe being this accessible means no game has an excuse.

RDR1 on phone is pretty nice too.

    3. not gonna lie, this is the craziest switch 1->2 update I’ve seen in a game.

I went from looking like absolute ass, not even 720p, trying to maintain 30fps.

To a solid 1080p, 60fps, that feels exactly like I’m playing on PC.

Some Switch 2 upgrades to me felt really underwhelming, like No Man’s Sky which really doesn’t do justice to the beauty of the game, even on the Switch 2 edition, but Warframe really hit the mark and feels basically the same as playing on PC.

    4. PSA for new players.

Don’t get overwhelmed. It’s a huge game and a lot of stuff is happening. Ask the community or use the wiki when stuff is unclear.

This is one of the, if not, the best F2P to date imo, also very friendly for free players.

Pretty much anything can be grinded and if you manage to get some good stuff to sell, you can actually sell it for in-game paid currency to other players so you can still enjoy paid exclusive stuff.

Also the free platinum you get with a new account. Use it on Warframe and weapon slots only, that is really the only thing you really need.

The story is chefs kiss, the plot twists are mind blowing when stuff becomes clear on why and who etc, I will refrain from spoilers.

You can easily sink 100 hours into the game and still discover new stuff.

All updates and new story lines are all free. No paid extension packs or anything.

Paying for stuff = less grind and/or waiting time. And honestly the first 50 hours or maybe even longer not any purchase is necessary because you will get a lot of stuff and when you have more knowledge about the game you can make way better purchase choices.

    5. Anyone have experience with the gyro controls in this version? I’ve heard mixed things, and that’s the main thing that I’d be interested in this version vs other consoles

Shame they didn’t go for a 120 FPS when it’s such an old title by now (overhauls or not). But when even the PS5 Pro isn’t given a 120 FPS mode I’m fully convinced the devs just don’t care about it which is a shame for such a fast paced game.

Is there any way to zoom out even a small bit? Feels super weird that the tenno is that close to the screen. I didn’t get much chance to play but I didn’t notice anything when I quickly checked the settings. Maybe I just need to get used to it.
