      See if you can clean out the battery compartment with rubbing alcohol and Q-tips. I’ve saved a few Furbies and other electronic toys that way including some old Wii-motes. Try it and see if the board works after that 🙂

      Battery corrosion is alkaline, so it can be dissolved with an acid like vinegar. Just put some vinegar on a q-tip and hit the white corrosion, it will fizzle a little and it’ll be clean afterwards.
