I got a New 2DS XL last year

Ive had some really bad experiences in the past with my consoles breaking, and knowing that this is the most breakable 2ds console just makes me worry about failure much more, so i just want some tips, what is the best things to do to prevent my 2ds breaking

    1. dont drop it, get 2ds armour for your specific model, and if youre modded, backup nand

    2. Handle with care? All my consoles, 10-15 years old, used regularly, not a problem in the world.

Buy a lanyard, and attach it to the lanyard connection point on your 2DS. Use it just like you use your seat belt.

Don’t: play in the shower, play while swimming, don’t store it on a road, don’t use it in a pinch to hammer in a nail.

    5. Get the battery out, Put it in blankets, but that in a box and store it somewhere high where no water from a flood or whatever can reach.

Dont get too excited or else you’ll get excited and broke the damn hinges in the most randomized way

Get a case and be very mindful of where you put it

don’t say anything about it breaking or it will break, i was playing on my 2ds xl, talked about how it’s not very durable. then i closed it and reopened it and the screen was just showing green…

    8. dont keep it in your pocket i jumped over a desk and that ended up cracking one of the edge pieces that eventually fell off. get a nice thick case to keep it in that goes nicely in your bag.

Just get a case and don’t be careless with it like any device? Super confused what the question is here

      Be careful with it.

      That’s it.

      That’s the trick.

If a thing is important to you, *treat it like it’s important*; Don’t throw it around. Make sure it’s securely in a bag or pocket. If it’s in a pocket, don’t run around like a maniac and fall/knock into things.
