I honestly don't understand the mindset behind serial review bombers. Take a look at this profile. Https://steamcommunity.com/profiles/76561199821961935/recommended/

I looked at their first 60 reviews—every single one of them is negative, and almost all of them have around 0.1 hours of playtime.

It makes me wonder: do you guys think reviews like this should actually impact a game's overall rating?

I can somewhat see both sides of the argument. On one hand, every opinion matters, and a person has the absolute right to hate whatever they want, whether there's a valid reason or not. It’s the internet, and that kind of behavior is just par for the course.

But on the flip side, Steam actively tries to fight mass review bombing specifically because these reviews don't actually describe the game. Steam's policy is built on the idea that reviews should be relevant to the game experience itself. Obviously, the opinion of someone who played for 6 minutes doesn't reflect the actual state or quality of the game.

Paradoxically, I know there are a few "cult classic" review bombers out there. Among some developers, getting a negative review from one of these specific accounts is almost seen as a weird badge of honor, and they actually look at it positively.

Still, it’s hard not to feel frustrated. When you pour your time, love, and attention into developing a game, seeing it get hit with negative reviews purely "for fun" or as a troll attempt really stings.

Anyway, I'd love to hear your thoughts. What's your opinion about this?
