I like how the Oscar Isaac movie was swept under the rug. I just can’t see any actor pulling off a faithful Solid Snake
Unless they go the idiotic route of telling everyone on the team not to play the games

Nice, can’t wait for it to be cancelled.

> Zach Lipovsky and Adam B. Stein have become among the more in-demand filmmakers in town. Now, Sony has snapped them up for an expansive deal that will cover all of studio’s film labels.
> Just a year ago, Zach Lipovsky and Adam B. Stein were a filmmaking duo with humble indie horror roots, prepping to release their first sizeable feature, Final Destination: Bloodlines from New Line Cinema.
> Under the deal, Lipovsky and Stein’s newly-launched company, Wonderlab, will develop films for the duo to direct and original projects that they will produce for other directors. The focus is creating wildly fun, commercial, character-driven, genre-bending films. They are currently meeting potential executives to help lead the company.

A movie about Shadow Moses would have the potential to be amazing. Who should play Snake? My vote is Karl Urban

Jesus, no wonder Alanah Pearce started that production company so IPs can stop being butchered by Hollywood that doesn’t even bother to understand what they’re adapting.

Hasn’t there been an MGS movie in the works for 20 years?

I’d see a shitty metal gear solid movie at this point. I would have zero expectations, it would just be wild to see it actually exist.

I heard Bloodlines was really solid I should check it out. Could be good. It really depends on how they plan to adapt it, it could be extremely faithful like what they did with the first Last Of Us season, or it could go the way of Return To Silent Hill…which is uh, not good. I think ego plays a part, ultimately. Sometimes directors think they can tell a better story than the original for some reason. If they can set that aside, it can work.

Avi and Ari Arad producing… this is going to be a stinker

End game for gaming IP should not be movies. Make better games. This is lame.
