Honestly, as much as I like a challenging game, i found that I more enjoy slower paced games, like My Time at Sandrock

Top one is me with Souls/Elden Ring games. I just cannot find any enjoyment in the punishing difficulty and loss of progress when dying.
I get some people are the bottom image on these games but man, I just don’t “get” it.

Both I guess. It really depends on the game and the genre. Sometimes the difficulty just makes the game feel like a slog. Other times, I get that massive dopamine hit for getting passed an insanely difficult part.
