Steam only gives me an Email whenever something in my wishlist is at a discount.
I buy something at GOG once and they start acting like they can't survive without me like that toxic ex with attachement issues, they are bloating up my entire Email.
This is exactly one of the many reasons Valve is winning because I never want to buy something from GOG again after this.

Unsubscribing from these emails would have been quicker than complaining about it on Reddit
Go complain on r/gog. Not here.

Not going to defend it all being on by default but it would take you 2 seconds to turn off all those e-mails if you don’t want them.
