So this CIB pilachu 3DS XL was on sale for $750 for awhile, I have come back to it often for maybe a month. I put an offer for $600 and they took it.
Seller updated the listing somewhere and wrote the cameras broke and the stylus is loose.
Still a good deal? I panicked and tried cancelling as I thought for the money, and CIB meant you know, everything was still really good condition.

I mean you could technically get a new stylus and replace the camera but not worth it imo
Both are easy fixes, replacing the camera is not difficult if you know what your doing but I would watch lots of videos on YouTube first
For that much I’d expect the handheld to be immaculate. If it’s an edition you really want and are fine with it, I guess keep it. For me, if it was an animal crossing edition and I knew it had just those defects, I’d lean towards keep looking
I am sorry to be the one that lets you know, but CIB and 600$ does not mean really good condition, 250-300$ is really good condition. CIB is perfect condition, as if it was picked up from the store, placed somewhere safe, sold later. Unless i am translating that term completely wrong, in that case someone could correct me. If the seller says the camera broke, the stylus is loose, thats just a regular used console that also happens to be ”special” edition. I put special in ” ” because everything can be special with the aftermarket replacement shells and a 40-50$ reproduction box, the magic recipe for profit.
I would cancel and message him if he updated the listing right before he accepts you offer. That seems very scammy as it sounds like he put it for listing at a silly high price, assuming someone will put an offer in and then when they do actually list the issues with it so when someone buys and complains he can go “well it is in the description!” It’s your money and I personally never use the camera but I don’t think it would be worth that personally.
On eBay there a retract your bid thing because they changed the listings description, for me I’d feel icky about it all and just return it. It would’ve worth waiting and even paying a little more than the 600 just to get an actually clean one…
I would contact the support on the website you ordered it from and cancel it because $600 for a console that is partially broken is wild, because they could’ve had it repaired considering how much they were selling it for. Also was the change in the description before or after you put in an offer? If after that’s a red flag for me.
That being said I think you should look into getting a different one and then purchasing the shell separately, assuming that’s the reason you wanted to buy it outside of it being CIB.
