I want it to he real, but it would he kind of funny at this point of the OOT remake ends up being fake with how many people are assuming it is real.
I would say existing would be the first step towards succeeding

I pretty much agree with everything you’re saying and hope for it, especially with a few new added quest lines to add to the experience and the lore. I also wouldn’t mind a lore expansion.
Some cool thoughts. The concept art bought to life idea is great. So it has a touch of old school nostalgia to it. Really don’t want to see the uninspired fan-made unreal engine style to it.
Though disagree on the scale – would love to see a a breath of the wild style Hyrule. A remake that is fully fleshed out into a sprawling studio Ghibli style story. OoT would then exist as either the N64 classic that leaves so much to your imagination (so it feels huge and epic in your mind), or an actual realised next gen version of this game. Anything in between feels like a waste of time.
