I would try taking out and putting back in the button. It’s really easy to do and might fix your problem

Probably just replace the r button. It’s not that hard of a fix

I’d try cleaning it with alcohol. If that doesn’t work it’s not too hard to replace the button.

This happens on mine sometimes. It’s probably that the spring fell out of alignment. I do have to take the shell apart a bit to put the button spring back in when this happens (thank God for needle nose tweezers).
If that’s not the issue, you might need to clean the button contact with some isopropyl on a cotton swab (the higher concentration the better, but try for at least 90%. lower concentrations need longer to dry). Still something you need to take it a bit apart to do and you’ll need to put the spring back again. Once again, needle nose tweezers are going to be your friend here.
