That first and second image is what I see when I look up on the back of the console, it seems the dust is blocking hard the air flow. My Series X just started being a bit noisy.
I plan to open it up and make a deep cleaning

Mine was filled with cat hair. Followed a cleaning YT video now it’s silent.

I’ve had my Series X for about 5 years now and it’s nowhere near this bad, and I’ve never opened it up for cleaning.
I just clean around it regularly and it keeps dust from getting into the console.
