
just to show you how it's going, i started few weeks ago making an hardware abstraction layer for porting the monocle engine (the game engine made for celeste) for the 3ds in order to port celeste itself later, i nearly fully ported it using the decompiled source code.
my goal is to make it the most accurate (some effects will be hard to achieve because of limited shader support)
since i wanted first to use a transpiler like il2cpp but i think it will cause performances issue, so i decided to port myself from scratch using the existing code.
it's a very early stage as you can see but i did the hardest already, the levels are not very accurate but i am focusing on effects for now.
