Not that I am an achievement hunter or keen to maximise achievement scores in games, but still… My guess is that the majority of achievements in this game are about doing all the optional challenges in all regions of the infinitely large map.

Because achievements are boring and basically 100% camp quests, 100% sword challenges and so on. Nothing interesting, just a checklist.
Most Open-World games Achievements are a chore list, its that simple.
That’s such a massive turn off for me. I’m not an achievement whore by any means but holy shit if I spend that much time in a game, I expect to have more than two fucking achievements.
Speed runners get nowt by way of achievements usually.
At just under 9 days, that might even qualify as a speed run for Crimson Desert.
