I never beat The Witness, but I did play [nearly 18 hours](https://i.imgur.com/S0Vtfw3.jpeg) & loved the challenge of it. For sure a game I never planned on buying
PS still has this and thats why I think the lowest tier is way worse on Xbox.
Its absolutely time to drop that tier completely and make online free.
They should at least let us keep the games we got with GWG now that its over without having an active membership!
My favorite I got from it was probably Sleeping Dogs
I forgot which game I got through the but I remember there was at least one I liked every month. Until the last year or so, and they started giving you nonsense to the point where I didn’t bother to check what it was monthly
I remember being excited to receive Radiant Silvergun.
Does having gamepass instead of normal xbox live stop the number on your profile from going up? Mine has been stuck at 10 for 2 years

Now as for your opinion, in 10 years of GWG we only got 200 games, which were drip fed and if you missed it then too bad
Premium gamepass has about 500 games
Essential has about 60
GwG was not better

I recall the first two games where Halo 3 and Assassins creed 2 and thinking, “I already have these !”
One of the few i got is Darkwood and i’ve absolutely loved it. Would’ve never played it without gold and can’t thank Xbox enough for making me discover it, i really hope they could bring GwG back, even if it’s just cheap games it was just too convenient.

The Games with Gold program was always amazing but don’t believe it was meant to last as people would like to it have. I believe it was this experience that allowed it to evolve into Game pass. The games of the month were never free if you think about it. It was always included in your price for Xbox live and then Xbox one you could only play them if subscribed to Xbox live
Would never have played Slime Rancher on my own but Im so glad I downloaded it and tried it out
