      I’ll probably sell it or give it away with the console, but if it’s some kind of limited edition, I’d keep it as a keepsake

      I only have two, to swap when the battery dies. They’re both 30th Anniversary, so I’ll get a premium for them when it’s time to sell.

      If I collected them I’d store them. I keep four controllers on hand, then I trade in the oldest towards a new one each year I’ve had my PS5. Currently have my white launch day one, Cosmic Blue, The Chrome Green one, and Silver

      Never heard of collectors? I got pretty much every console and some are still sealed.

      Honestly, getting a 6 really depends on the price. They want nearly $1000 for a 5 Pro as it is. People thought I was insane for buying a 3DO at launch, and that was in 1993 for $700, when other things were affordable and a single job could buy a house. Anyway, shorter answer, I’ll sell them with the console, most likely, if I upgrade.

      They work on PC’s for steam and for PS remote play. I still use a ps4 controller for my computer haha that being said, I dont buy like 10 controllers.

      For those who dont know, you can play ps5 on your tablet and other devices without a PS portal lol

      I have two PS4 controllers and two PS5… still using my 10 year old PS4 for stuff with my working 10 year old controllers… lol

      I mean any that survive will probably have stick drift. Lol.

      Joking, ps5 will go in spare room and controllers go with them, ps4 moved on from spare room to charity and ps6 in living room probably.

      Ive modded a ps2 with a hdd and have wireless receivers in spare room, duelsense works with them too.

      Many options

      1) Keep them (I have them as wall deco anyway)
      2) Gift them (There will always be someone still on PS5
      3) Sell them (same as 2)
      4) Use them on PC

      I’ll probably sell one or two but I assume that they will be useable on the 6 and to be honest I may not even upgrade

      Presumably they’ll still work for PS5 games if its backwards compatible. And maybe for PS6 games because i don’t know how they could improve the controller further

      Good question. All these people bragging about their 100 controllers have egg on their face when that happens.

      I keep them and will continue to play. In hindsight, my ps3 controllers got old and all have drift issues. So I usually play my ps3 with my ps4 controllers. With the 5, I have like 6 controllers…two still unopened in their box. I may never need the extra, but I’d rather have and not need than need and not have.

      I have 3 special controllers. My icon blue, my 30th anniversary, and my white og. I don’t use any of them.

      I use a midnight black as my every day driver and if something happens to it I’ll replace it. I keep my 2 limited editions displayed and I keep my og white on the dual charger as a set piece next to my PS5.

      Keep using them! I have both my ps4 and ps3 still hooked up so I use the controllers all the time! I actually hope they stick with dual sense design unchanged for a few generations but I doubt that will happen!

      They may be compatible with ps6 , otherwise keep the ones I love on display and sell the ones I don’t have an attachment too

      Keep using them for their intended purpose, playing video games. I’m not really one to throw out/get rid of old stuff nor sell or trade for the “new” thing.

      I noticed that when those “I have all the controllers” posts appear, people start to post nasty comments, instead of just accepting that some people have more expendable income in the world than you do.

      I have 15 controllers in their original packaging, so I’ll probably leave them like this

      Questions abt a device that’s not even been announced yet piss me off tbh all ps subs should ban posts with ps6 until sony announces something.

      Keep them of course. When the PS6 comes out the PS5 will begin the next phase of its life. Moving to the bedroom TV

      There’s really no good reason they shouldn’t just allow them to work on a PS5 imo. Outside of screwing the consumers I guess for their own profit haha.
