Trying to replace the Digitzer on my 3DS, but these screws.
I recently bought a 3DS for repair but Im trying to replace the touch screen digitizer on it but these screws will not budge and they are stripped too. Does anyone know what i can do?
Get a better screwdriver, press down hard and pray. If that doesn’t work, drill them out until the head pops off (carefully!), remove the housing and then you can twist out the remaining threads with pliers.
You’ll need to buy a new set of screws of course

If you want to try at-home solutions before taking it to a repair shop, you could:
1) use a rubber band, put it in between the Philips head and the screw, try to get traction between the two
2) use a glue gun, dab a little blob on the tip of the Philips head and press it into the screw. Hold it there for a minute or two to harden then try to unscrew
If those options fail, I’d highly recommend going to a cell phone/electronics repair shop
