the recency bias has definitely passed now, so which game do you think is better? DK bananza or Mario Odyssey
I think bananza is better. the collection is a lot more diverse and rewarding for me, I also think that the destruction is a way more interesting gimmick than cappy
It’s very close but I think Bananza wins by a little bit. For me, it does everything Odyssey does but slightly better, especially story.

I guess if I had to pick only one to play I’d go with Odyssey. Bananza started to reach a point where I could get practically every single collectible by using the elephant. Odyssey never lost that point coloration and puzzle solving. That’s not a big dig against Bananza as both are just about equal to me. The finale was also peak Nintendo. If I’m picking a winner it’s Odyssey though.
