Honestly how do you make a souls like movie
I do not envy Alex Garland. He stands to gain a shitload of money if he pulls it off, but I cannot even conceive of a way to take this game into a two-hour film. Either it’s a small adventure in the universe where the main fights at most three of the story’s bosses, or a prequel to the game. More than that, and the film would be a right mess from a storytelling perspective, even if that’s exactly what most fans would want. It’s a damned if you do, damned if you don’t situation. I really hope he nails it.
