Hey I was planning on getting rid of my 2ds (door stopper) for a original 3ds. I’ve always had a 2ds and I always wanted to have the 3ds I was just wondering if this is a good idea or if I should just keep my 2ds. The main thing for me is portability but I also have big hands (apparently) and like the feel of the 2ds. I just need help lol

Get a New 3DS XL and keep the 2DS around so if you hang out with a friend, they can use it to play Mario Kart with you.

    2. Why not keep the 2DS and get a 3DS? So you can have both and you can have multiplayer.

I’d say 2DS. 3DS isn’t the most comfortable and the 2DS is much more durable.

    4. Ngl I’d personally buy another one rather than sell the 2ds. TBH the 2ds is the most sturdy compared to all the other versions and easier to replace parts in. If anything save up then get a 3ds.

I love my 2ds (and I also have a 3ds). It’s comfy to hold with bigger hands than other models I think, but yeah the portability is the worst of any gameboy haha

I’d just keep an eye out for a good deal on a 3ds. Since you have the 2ds in the meantime you won’t feel like you have to rush into a bad deal

Realistically what do you want with a bae 3ds that a 2DS cant provide? You won’t be using the 3d feature outside of maybe AR cards and a couple niche scenarios, but that hardly justifies going through the effort of getting a regular 3ds.

I’d say hold off on the purchase now, save up some money since you’re saying that moneys tight currently and when you have enough buy yourself a Japanese New 3ds LL that’ll have the 3d feature and stronger system.

    7. Hey again. I found a 3ds at a store in great condition for 170$ is that a fair price or should I still wait on it?
