Good choice. You can buy games from the 360 era for like 8-10 bucks a piece used in places like eBay so even after gta 6 it’s out you can enjoy more games

It’s a genuinely solid console and I actually also love being able to use it for moonlight streaming. The fact so many xbox 360 games can be played on it and how cheap the xbox one games are is absolutely amazing. It’s a very contemporary modern gaming system.

I felt this way getting XB1 during Covid. Haven’t consoled since N64 couldn’t afford a good enough PC to keep up with the market.
Game Pass and Cloud Streaming has been a dream to catch up on everything. Binging Far Cry 3-6 as well as Survival Tomb Raider 1-3, with some Just Cause and some Cyberpunk/Watch Dogs, wow made it almost worth the wait, im still discovering things I missed out on.

I like the backward compatibility, but the controllers are definitely less sturdy than in the days of yore.
The sticks work with some weird sensor and even though mine is physically not moving, it registers upward movements. Apparently it’s common and happened because it fell off my couch or got dusty causing some issue with the sensor, so be very careful with yours.
My 360 controllers back in my student days went through hell and kept going, so it was disappointing, when this started happening.

I did the same thing, best choice ever. Now that you need 2000 for a 4k gaming pc, it was the only choice for me. First console I ever bought (36yo). I am also buying game pass from eneba for 12€ and I’m having the time of my life

I have both but definitely GTA6 is primarily going to be played on the stronger console.

the only reason to buy a series x over the ps5 Pro for gta 6 right now would be the noise level of the console. Helix would probably be a better investment.
