I’m making it my mission to mention accent lighting as much as I can in these posts because, while I can’t explain why it works, I’ve found that using warm accent lights instead of the harsh main light is overall very nice and a lot more relaxing.

Remove the posters if you must keep them buy nice frames with matting. Buy a new deskmat but something not as busy, I would say either your art or your deskmat should be loud but not both it’s up to you to pick which is which. For the future I would definitely think about buying a new drawer to bring it all together.

The posters don’t look great. Consider putting a shelf or two with a few decorative items on them. Hang some frames photos or art. Change the lighting to something softer and warmer.

Get some frames for your posters and art. It will keep them nicer and stave off that dorm room look.

I really like it, I’d move the playstation to the left a bit and add another monitor, but thats just me. Very aesthetically pleasing otherwise.
