I noticed my controller wouldn't turn on with my rechargeable batteries so I thought maybe they didn't charge. I put in brand new AA'S and it still wouldn't cut on. I took the batteries out and when I checked the back I found that small hole. Is my controller done for or can I fix it?

The controller is held together with 5 screws, 2 under each handle cover and 1 in the battery compartment; the latter being what that hole is.
Does the controller turn on if you hook it up to the console with a USB cable?
Rip off the sticker, it will give you a clearer picture of the damage, if there is any.
That’s not the problem, when that hole is there it void’s the warranty because there’s a screw under there to open up the controller.
Trouble shoot it, use a USB cable, different batteries. Not rechargable ones
