The Wii U tablet is charging so not pictured. The Wii and the Wii U were picked up at a thrift store. The accessories were picked up at garage sales and thrift stores as well as the games. The total cost of the gaming set up with games, cooler and tv included is around $300CAD

Pretty sure the WiiU is 100% backwards compatible with the Wii.
But the Wii is 100% backwards compatible with GameCube (WiiU is not).
