Hi buddies!
I'm on my first run and trying to collect everything before going into space. Everytime i come here (great desert) there's an icon of a memory stick that appears to be under the sand. I tried everything and checked for info on the internet but idk what is going on.

hmm, that’s odd, I was in the same situation recently and collected everything I could before continuing past the Orcal Testimony point of no return. Any memorysticks around that statue were on the legionnaire bodies. I will say, for Lily’s Affinity meter, you don’t need every record anyways, and for the Record Collector trophy, I believe there are 321 entries that count, for Documents, Memorysticks, and Passcode, yet only 200 are required for the achievement. So you don’t even need to collect every single one (though I did on the first run lol, somehow I missed just one camp somewhere though, so I’ll have to find it in NG+).
