As I always say, Star Fox will probably return at some point, however it’s going to be a very low priority. The games never sold that well and Zero killed its reputation. Consider Star Fox to be in league with series like Chibi Robo, Rhythm Heaven, and golden sun. When it comes back it will very likely be made by an outside developer; obviously it won’t be platinum games again but probably someone like Bamco. Star fox is never going to be a AAA Nintendo of Japan developed series again, or at least not for a very long time, but it’s still very likely to return within the next 5 years.
