Eve is both a generic term for an angel, and a specific name for the main character.
A bit confusing.

Essentially the theory is that each airborne squadron has an eve the represents their best. She gets pissy when Adam decides Eve as the person he wants to fuse with and not her.
Edit: it might be more simple than that. Both Raven and Eve are part of the EVE defense force, in separate airborne squadrons.

My best guess is that EVE’s name is not EVE and we will probably learn it in the future (DLC, sequel, etc). It will also parallel the fact that Adam’s name wasn’t Adam.

The way I think about it is every airborn squad has an Eve, and Raven was the Eve of her squadron. She probably killed all the other Eves from the other squadrons that Mother Sphere sent.
