It feels like nowadays, for a character to “have a personality”, what it really means is that they need some kind of social or behavioral dysfunction. If they aren’t some brand of asshole, smug, egotistical, cynical, pessimistic, or sarcastic then they are boring.
It was nice seeing someone that just wants to do good and having the game embrace it.
