-If the decision is made not to take Adam's hand, it leads to the extinction of the human race, with Eve being the one to kill the last human being. This decision highlights Eve's nature as an android, as it shows no emotion or concern for the survival of humanity.
-Conversely, choosing to take Adam's hand ensures the preservation of human civilization through Adam. This choice signifies a commitment to humanity's continuity and future.
I wish there were an option where Adam could live and meet mother's sphere, his creations.

A lily. Windshield wiper. Half a lily.
My first play-through I chose to take the hand. Not really sure why. Just was like “this may be the bad choice but fuck it”
1st choice was to take the hand – just because *~~Fuck~~* mother sphere.
Taking Adam’s hand is the only one that made sense to me. Upon realizing that Adam was the Elder Natiyba, my thought was, but why would I fight Adam though? That doesn’t make any sense as EVE cares about the salvation of humanity, for both humans and andro-eidos. Also he’s your friend, and never really given reason for you to be against him. And fuck you Mother Sphere I’m not siding with you.
I literally said out to myself as the cutscene played “This is dumb, he’s asking EVE to join him but I’m not gonna be able to choose that even though it makes complete sense.” Then the option popped up and I was like “Oh, well…nevermind then.”
Take his hand. Cuz unlike Nier Replicant, >!*there is* a chance for humanity, technically. As far as we know the Androids of Xion (I’m not calling them Andro-eidos that’s dumb) can’t reproduce or even manufacture more of themselves. So like Replicant, things would sorta stagnant or be constantly reset by Mother Sphere (Like Popola and Devola did in Replicant). Ironically, Stellar Blade takes *alot* more from Replicant than Automata imo. Eve fused with Adam pretty much becomes like Kaine. (Interpret that how you will, ya degenerates)!<
It’s a no from me
I took his hand. I see no downsides to this option, literally none whereas if you don’t and you kill him, mother sphere is eventually going to dispose of Eve and Lilly as Raven said, they know too much. At least with the fusion going on we can actually save Earth as we are half Andro-Eidos and half Naytiba/Organic Human.
I did not take his hand. Eve is bad all by herself, thank you very much.
Take Adam’s hand
Bro is hot
I almost didn’t take his hand because of the cliché “the guy who’s lied from the start clearly can’t be trusted”. But then I reassessed the entire storyline and while Raphael (Adam) is to blame for everything, it wouldn’t make any sense him for him to pretend to save Eve, lead her all the way to meet the “Elder Naytiba”, and then reveal that he’s lied to her from the beginning if he intended to use her to help save humanity through the fusion. Mother Sphere isn’t any better but definitely worse if her intention is to permanently eradicate the human race. Then I also recalled Nier Automata noting the similarities in the story (never ending cycle of machines & androids destroying each other while AI watches VS androids & naytibas/former humans destroying each other while AI watches) which let to me ultimately choosing to take Adam’s hand.
Lost Memories. Fuck mother sphere and Lily
I disagree on the analasys for these endings. I see them as the complete opposite in terms of what they imply. They truly do mirror the idea that the actual story of Adam and Eve convey.
I was super conflicted my first time through. Taking Adam’s hand feels like EVE resigning herself to her fate. She was created for nothing more than to be a vessel for the return of mankind. No autonomy…no humanity for her personally. She essentially becomes a god with a singular path she has to follow for the rest of her life (or…eternity?).
Refusing Adam’s hand shows that EVE has grown. She has learned self worth, desire, ego…she knows that choices have consequences, and makes her choice based on her own moral compass. She has become human. But she also dooms humanity.
Or…does she? It depends on how you define humanity. Is your definition of humanity based in biology or conscience? I’d contend that EVE is already human, because she (and the rest of the andro-eidos if given the chance) have just as much capacity to learn, love and create as biological humans, and therefor have just as much right to exist as anyone or anything else.
All of that to say…morally, refusing Adam is correct in my opinion. But with the knowledge of what the consequences are within the game’s universe (not just regarding humans), accepting Adam is clearly the right thing to do.
Man, its hard for me. I didn’t really trust Adam, but I damn sure don’t trust mothersphere. But ultimately, seeing how hard Adam worked for Xion, I probably would side with him for real.
I didn’t take his hand the first time because I felt betrayed and honestly I no it’s not like the trending but I kind of prefer it over the trending I don’t know why maybe it’s just because I like the boss fight that might be it
Refusal. Adam is a lying, manipulative piece of shit and the root cause of every problem in the game. Adam is no longer human, he’s a naytiba, his pitch that Andro-Eidos can never surpass humans because they lack human DNA is horseshit, that’s not what humanity is. Fucker wants a third chance to play God and it feels righteous to deny him that. *HE* destroyed humanity, not Eve.
I wanted to not take his hand but selected the wrong option because i thought the choices would have aligned with the image (towards him or away). I was a bit shocked at first, lol.
Yeah, I took the hand. Finally a way forward.
Choosing Adam made the most sense to me. He had good intentions from the start even though things went awry. The merging of human and android was a good compromise considering that androids lacked the important human element and humans lacked the things needed to survive in a harah element(durable body, ability to survive in space, function off limited energy, etc)
Took his hand. Cause he’s ma boi.
Take the hand.
I didn’t take it thebfirst time. That was awe inspiring. I did the second and had maxed lily that was epic but mean. I’m working towards the 3rd ending now
I take his hand because wiping out the last bit of the actual human race seems like a bad ending to me
i didnt want adam with eve so i just rejected it lol
i took his hand and man, did not regret it cuz adam eve looked awesome as hell. i really wish we could have had that as a nano suit to wear in NG+ so badly rip.
