1st one and it’s not close. Animal crossing has been really really popular in the past few years but Pokémon is the biggest media franchise and Kirby is iconic

Mario, Link, and Pikachu will always be the mainstays. As for the fourth seat, I feel it comes and goes. I feel like Kirby has definitely had more of a presence spanning more years, so probably him, but he’s just not as popular. Inkling and Isabelle are similar levels of popularity, just in different fandoms.
