Turn off desktop icons
I use rainmeter to have a very clean UI, but it is work to setup
I remove all icons from my desktop. Apps i use all the time get added to the taskbar, all folders are moved into the documents folder (or images or music, etc., depending on the contents) and sorted there. Apps i dont use often don’t get added to the taskbar, i just use the search function for them.
No icons. Just search for what I need or have it on taskbar
I guess I’m old and out of touch, but I love using my desktop as a desktop and filling it with icons lol
