      Lets go! Kinda funny how they mention the fact that switch 2 wont be present again.

      I really, really hope that they show off Metroid Prime 4, and that it ends up being a BoTW situation (AKA both the Switch’s swan song and one of the Switch 2’s early heavy hitters).

      This might actually be the last Switch-centric Direct. I don’t even know what to expect at this point.

      Is this latest they’ve announce a direct before? 
      They usually give about a weeks notice, no?

      What is everyone thinking? A bunch of HD remakes for one final push before the Switch successor in March? Maybe Dragon Quest III HD-2D as well?

      Listen ya’ll, I don’t wanna be a party pooper or sound like a pessimist, but with the Switch in it’s twilight years and about to be sunset for the successor (which they said is being announced by the end of their fiscal year) there probably won’t be a whole lot of big news/reveals in this direct. It is Nintendo, and they love surprises/shadow dropping, so there will *possibly* be something to whet our appetites and tide us over until then, but don’t get too hyped up. Any really big reveals aren’t gonna happen until we get the successor announcement as they’ll most likely be for that in order to build its hype. So temper your expectations going in.

      Neat, wonder if they will announce anything that will make me want to turn my Switch on again one more time. Last game I played on Switch was Princess Peach Showtime back in March.

      I think the fact they brought up that the Switch successor isn’t going to be in the Direct *yet again* is a very positive sign.

      Something tells me they’re not going to say the same thing multiple times in the future and this could be the final Switch-focused direct.

      What usually is the traditional big September Direct might become the teaser for the next gen console. Like, not a whole lot, but just a quick look at the console, like the first Switch teaser.

      DK 64 is all I really really want, this one I have no clue at all what they got cooking, my best guess is something really shocking, suns setting on the Switch being the front runner, go out with a bang

      Sincerely want two of my favourites – WW&TP on the Switch.

      A new Top-Down LoZ would be great too!

      Some other things I’d like to see are a ***Mario Mushroom Kingdom Warriors*** and a ***Super Mario Mystery Dungeon***.

      Won’t happen, but I think they’d be cool.

      MD & Warriors generally seem under-utilised.

      For the love of God, please, give us another Donkey Kong Country…if not now, by 2026, which will be the thirtieth anniversary of DKC 3.

      some rumors I’ve been hearing

      – Geanology of the Holy War remake(this seems the most likely)
      – Dreamcast/Gamecube coming to NSO(has been talked about a few times)
      – Twilight Princess/Wind Waker ports

      There are a lot of things I want out of this direction. None of which I will actually see.

      My birthday is tomorrow. My all time favorite game is Wind Waker. Don’t disappoint me Nintendo.

      Alternatively, for a “this will never happen” wish, give me HD remakes of Lost Kingdoms 1/2.
