I really wish we could add shortcut to Nintendo Classics game on our Homescreen, I feel like it would make me play them way more

    What do you think?

By not pulling out my CRT, old console, hooking cords up and blowing cartridges, the NSO app with nice library of games itself is a huge shortcut in my lifetime.

That said, I’m still down for even further shortcuts.

    2. Looks cool but I just want plain black borders instead of the current borders with profile icon

    3. From the NSO app, you can view all Nintendo Classics titles and launch the games from there.

    4. I had this exact same idea!!! Would be so useful for grouping games in folders and make me much more likely to play them

    5. This is a sick idea but I’d rather not have a banner on the top of the icon because having a bunch of games with the same banner is going to look off when mixed in with the rest of your library

    6. Wish you could just buy the individual games outright instead of relying on the subscription

    7. Yeah if you could ‘favourite’ certain games so they pop up on your home menu! I would love that

It would be a good feature.

I do this on Steam Deck (adding retro games individually with proper artwork) and it makes a big difference.

Maybe, I could see it for GC especially where the individual game sizes are really adding up over time I wouldn’t hate the option to split them out more generally.

Same! Especially because I often forget what’s on there and I have to actually go into the apps to figure it out

    11. If they just sold us the game and baked the emulator into the OS, this would be easy. Instead, they put this behind launching an emulator connected to an online subscription. They could even, dare I say, do physical releases and collectors editions!

    12. I want it to go in the opposite direction, Shove a Virtua Console button at the bottom bar
