New controller from Amazon, the box was a bit grubby and it looks like the seal has been opened and glued back down. There are marks on the sticks, am I being fussy, i don’t know if i should send it back? TIA.
What people do is order a new one from Amazon. Put their old one in send it back and get a refund.

Ok probably not ideal doesn’t look “normal” as such but have you checked the controller?
Packaging could quite easily be damaged in the mail , check the controller first before getting worried
You can still return once opened , might as well see more than likely it’s fine and you can carry on
Just check the damn thing first 😂
*Edit
Ok so if it has marks on it send it back and get another may of been a return they have sent out again

That’s not normal, if you paid for new and received this you can consider getting it replaced.
I’d only keep this if it was on a discount and doesn’t bother you too much.

Send it back, that is a used controller

Man people are shit. That’s used, so send it back.
I’ve experienced this with the Xbox One. Three times in a row I received a used console marked up as brand new.
Companies should trace these products back and send an invoice to whoever stole from them, but unfortunately probably just chalk it up as a loss.

Check if the serial number on the controller matches the box. If it does, it could just be a packaging seal issue. Since you can return it anyway, I’d test the controller and see if everything works fine. You still have the manufacturer warranty if you keep it. Personally, I hate returning stuff and waiting for replacements. Let us know what happens.

That’s definitely been used before, return it. I would also strongly recommend using hand cream

No but judging by your fingers they wouldn’t of lasted long before looking like that anyway.

This is not what we would call “new”. Probably has stick drift already!

No, that’s not normal. That’s not new, and if you bought it as such, return it.
