Problems with the Wi-Fi LED

I recently bought an Old 3DS XL and have already installed homebrew, but there's a light that blinks constantly near the Wi-Fi switch and reacts to it. If I turn off Wi-Fi, it stops blinking, and if I turn it back on, it starts again. I don't know if this is normal for the console or some kind of error since I'm new to it. But I need to know what it is because it's worrying me a bit. I also haven't been able to find any information about this online.
