I've had a steam account for nearly two decades now.
I have a lot of friends that I made before 2010 playing Day of Defeat and Team Fortress 2.
A lot of them haven't been online for over a decade now.
I often wonder what happened to them. I hope they're okay.
I can't imagine not logging into steam for a decade because steam and video games is important to me.

I know what happened to some of them.
Tell your friends you love them when you still have the chance.
Kids
Well all three of them passed away. So yeah.
ded
I only have irl friends on steam so I know where all of them are lol
Work, kids, and worse case scenario, political strife, if they’re living in a country having issues.
I only really care about one of them, I hope that he found a new hobby and he’s happy, it’s been 7 years
Shot himself now every time I open steam I have a moment of sadness but can’t bring myself to remove his profile
Your friend username makes me feel he just lost his password
I have one dead person on my friends list and it’s kind of somber
My PS friends probably think I died lol my ps4 kicked the bucket in 2019 and I just decided to build a PC. Only added 2 friends that I knew since 08 from PS on steam.
From all the time I spent online had a few people just straight up disappear, only found out 1 passed away but most just completely gave up gaming.
