I was always curious if the Dev team every mentioned why they decided to call the game "Stellar BLADE?" What is the game's relevance to that title? Why not something like "EVE Protocol" instead, as that has greater narrative relevance?

Often Asian titles don’t translate well
Not saying that’s necessarily what happened here but it feels that way
Stellar as in space. Eve is from space. And blade, the weapon from the game.
Also they didn’t think Goon Souls would sell.
There is a lore behind EVE’s Blood Edge blade that wasn’t explored in the first game. Hopefully, Kim Hyung Tae and the rest of the studio explore that in SB2. I also think it’s a double entendre for EVE. She’s a living, walking weapon from space.
Koreans love their funny names. I was in Seoul and had coffee and cakes at A Twosome Place. It was actually really good!
I still liked the first title Project Eve a lot, but I can see how Stellar Blade kinda just has a more marketable name.
The developer is big fan of Yoko Taros NieR: Automata. The game that never talks about NieR: Automata.
I think it has something to do about the “BLADE” itself… Not sure though.
