      Aside from rosalina and mouse mode, what else is in the s2 version? That hardly seems worth the upgrade unless it’s free

      So the Koopa Kids stuff isn’t brand new levels, they’re just IN the original levels? That was kind of hard to make out.

      I find it a bit underwhelming that there are only 6 courses for the online portion of Bellabell Park… That said I’m still looking forward to this!!!

      (Maybe I can force a random drop of an XC2 update into existence?)

      I’m pretty sick and tired of Nintendo leaving the OG Switch 1 versions behind without these content updates.

      I didn’t have a problem with Nintendo porting updated Wii U games to Switch because barely anyone owned a Wii U, I’m glad those games got attention and a player base and some upgrades.

      There’s no need to do it again, outside of upgraded graphics/performance ports. There’s no reason the bonus content can’t come to the OG Switch versions.

      Looks like Nintendo is doing that pre-direct dump of info on smaller titles and updates on pre-revealed stuff. I guess the big February direct will be fairly early on this year

      I’m slightly bummed Rosaline is not a free update for all but it’s instead a switch 2 exclusive thing

      I wish they had shown more new single player content other than timed challenges and boss battles, but it does look like a good, pretty robust update if you enjoy multiplayer. Also glad the Koopalings are back. The worst part of Wonder to me were the repetitive, hum-drum boss battles. This seems to fix that though so I’m excited to give the game another play-through, even if a lot of the new stuff isn’t for me as a mostly solo player.

      Another paywall for Switch 2 owners to unlock resolution and refresh rates. Just make the bellabel park stuff dlc but give S2 owners free visual and refresh upgrades for all Switch 1 games, ffs

      Just beat Mario Wonder for the first time last week. Great timing for this news drop, awesome game!

      They should make all of these Switch 2 upgrades free for Switch Online w/ Expansion Pack members.

      So dk country returns, a years old game at this point, gets a free upgrade but wonder a game I just bought less than 2 years ago is 20 bucks. Nintendo makes zero sense.

      So they are basically making this content exclusive to Switch 2 (for what reason ?) and alienating most of the already existing 16+million users of the game on Switch 1. And they priced it at $20 and there’s no mention of even a resolution bump.

      They are also paywalling the Polish language translation for this game behind the Switch 2 edition. The assist mode is also paywalled now by extension.
