      $20 for playable Rosalina and Luma, like 17 new multiplayer mini games and 7 bonus bosses against the Koopalings. You can get Mario Wonder for cheaper price on Facebook marketplace if you’re lucky and slim chance of a sale for Mar10 day

      $30 CAD for a lot of these Switch 2 upgrades is kind of insane considering stuff like the Ghost of Tsushima and Last of Us Part II on PS5 was like under half that price for roughly the same kind of content like expanded story or new modes

      I love Rosalina so much and I want to play as her but for 20 bucks on top of the 60 that you allready pay for with the game? I’m good. There’s not nearly enough stuff in this that’s actually worth it

      Really wish we could just get a performance patch for the games separately. The new modes don’t really interest, but possibly (dont think it’s confirmed) playing the game in 4K and maybe 120fps would be so nice.

      I’ve wanted to play Rosalina in every Mario game I had the chance to and they lock her behind a $20 upgrade I won’t get because it’s basically all party games I play alone and then at that she’s a re-skin 😭

      Honest question. I’ve noticed newer released Nintendo games like Donkey Kong Bonanza and Super Mario Wonder offer a paid DLC. But isn’t the point in purchasing the +expansion pass to get DLC on first party games for free? Or was that just an anomaly for Mario kart 8 delux and animal crossing?

      The game is already running at 2k right? I think it got an update for that at least. If so, I aint about to spend $20 for random limited boss rush and mp shit.

      I probably would’ve picked this up for $10, which is still kinda pushing it. For $20 I’m gunna pass.

      Playing the regular version of the game now and this will be a hard pass for me. I don’t play much couch multiplayer so I don’t see the content being worth it for SP alone.

      On the other hand, the DKC update made getting that game very appealing to me. Will likely try to get it used though

      This seems fun and would def be worth it to like families or folks that get a lot of use out of multiplayer stuff, but this is a hard pass for me. Rosalina and the Koopaling levels are really the only enticing things for me, and they don’t exactly seem like I’d get $20 of enjoyment out of those

      The base game already runs at 60fps, right? Does that imply we might get a performance mode with 120fps at 1080 or 1440p?

      I unfortunately already sold the game a while ago so i dont think its worth for me tbh especially since i dont use much the multiplayer

      I’m happy to see the complaints about the price, but where were you guys ~8 years ago when us Wii U owners were complaining about Nintendo charging full price (or sometimes more) for the Nintendo Switch version of a Wii U game and completely shitting all over the customers who supported them during the Wii U era?

      Wii U owners learned a very bitter lesson back then about how much Nintendo cares about the people giving them their hard-earned money.

      At least now you can get upgrade packs instead of being expected to re-purchase the whole game again.
