A reasonable price but you have to wait for your chance, and I get that’s tough when prices are going to the moon right now.

I didn’t wait. I gave up altogether, there’s no way I could justify blowing a wad of cash like some are doing, I’d rather use it for other things and so I bought a mint condition OG 3DS from Japan for $120USD (it will arrive anytime now)… Then what do I find today? A reasonable deal on a New 3DS XL, that Japan couldn’t touch, based on what I’d been seeing on eBay. $180 USD, came with a few games and a charger, and of course it’s North American.

The lesson for me: watch the marketplace and don’t be afraid to haggle or come in low. Be respectful and be sure sellers knows you’re buying it to use, not flip. No one likes being taken advantage of, and you’d be surprised how often people will meet you halfway if you level with them.

Now that I have a n3dsxl in hand, I probably should sell that Japanese OG 3DS. 😆
