Not exactly fitting to the picture, but Witcher 3 is like this for me. I have a ton of fun in White Orchard, really enjoy things and such, then I finish it and move on to the second area. I have tried five or so times now over the years since the game launched, including just last month, and I cannot make it through the second area, I just get so bored and lose interest. This last time however I did manage to get farther into that area and have found some things that actually genuinely bothered me about the game, so at least now I have more of a reason to not want to play it.

Mafia III. its got good elements but doing the same 3-4 mission types over and over again is NOT a good gameplay loop its really boring

I’ve played KH1 and 2 countless times and love them, even some of the spin offs. Once I get to Tangled it like driving into a brick wall at 100 mph
