This past week has been insane in north Texas due to freezing temperatures, and my job basically gave me a four day weekend, so I decided to fill in the time. I already have a new 2dsXL I bought from eBay some time ago that’s homebrewed, but I just don’t like that it’s pretty flimsy, so I decided to get myself a base model 2ds and mod it myself. Ever since I was a kid I always thought that the translucent purple gba was the coolest thing ever, but I never had one myself, so the translucent/ transparent shells cure a bit of that nostalgia and fomo that I have. Here’s the 2ds next to my gba sp I modded a while back during the pandemic.
