RIP. I don’t have the talent some people do with character creators, would’ve been nice to download pre-made Miis.
But this probably avoids a lot of copyright infringement issues for Nintendo.
I was really hoping they would allow for the same online features as Miitopia on switch or at least the QR code thing like in the original. That way if you weren’t good at mii making you had the option. This is disappointing. That was honestly the main thing I wanted.
My guess is that this is a move to prevent what happened with Animal Crossing New Horizons- where people used the game for marketing their brands. That, and they also probably don’t want people sharing Miis and things that are inappropriate- given that you can draw freely on Mii faces or clothes now.
Can see why they’re doing it I suppose but it’s a shame. I loved going through the creations others had made in miitopia and adding them to my game.
So youre telling me Im going to have to recreate Darth Vader and Obama by hand?
well there goes literally all of my excitement.
i get it. but… i have no interest or talent or patience in making my own miis
Speaking as somebody who spent hours of their life making Miis in Miitopia: w h y ?
Getting to share my creations was half of the fun!
This fucking sucks metric-ass.
