I kind of assumed Switch 2 was being sold at a slight loss at the very least due to components and tariffs (not to mention the Japan version of the console basically didn’t increase in price at all). Sounds like they have a bit more wiggle room than I thought.

    2. A shareholder asked him about a potential price increase. Does that mean if I hold one share of Nintendo, I can ask Furukawa when the next 3D Mario is going to be released?

If I were to guess, Nintendo probably has a contract in which it states they get to buy memory a certain price. This obviously wouldn’t be long term, but it would explain why the price didn’t increase back in November.

How is this even news? What do you expect him to say? He’s not going to jack up the price not even a year after launch.

I never worried about switch 2 going up in price, hence why I’m waiting for a special edition version. The switch 2 is already too expensive cause the us is in a recession currently

    6. This is because memory pricing has leveled off and there’s no large 300% price increases happening or expected to happen.

It might even trend down because companies are realizing they’re buying ram to put in data centers that haven’t been built, that wouldn’t have enough to power to go live, are not welcome in most communities and uh, have no purpose that the public will pay money for.
