    1. Well this is upsetting. I have Oblivion on PC but was looking forward to a physical copy for Switch 2. Guess I’ll continue playing on PC.

Yes this is worse than a Game Key Card, but I’ve been reading nothing but complaints about Game Key Cards everywhere. Please don’t tell me the majority will now be upset that it’s not even a Game Key Card 😂😂😂

EA, Activision, Ubisoft and now Bethesda. Who’s next in line to use the STUPID codes-in-a-box? Place your bets.

    4. That…tracks with Bethesda’s rep.

But hey! If you want a good Fallout style game, The Outer Worlds got updated until it became actually playable on Switch!

Whats even the point? Just make it digital only and save the plastic, at least with a key card I can sell it once I’m done with it.

I always try to go with physical. A GKC is better than cardboard, but I still want games on card. Otherwise I’m probably just gonna download because what’s the point? But that’s what they want.

If they’re charging so much for games, I should be able to buy it on something physical for when the servers get dropped in 10-20 years, otherwise pass the savings to us.

Come on Limited Run Games! I’m counting on you here just like with Wolfenstein 2 for Switch.

    8. On the bright side i expect several price drops since its just a code look the the WWE game it eventually got to $5 dollars

    9. I can ways count on Bethesda when it comes to picking the absolute worse dogwater option available (this applies to anything btw)

I don’t even know why they put them in boxes at that point. If you want to sell it at a store just sell codes on a card or something.

I don’t have a switch yet, I was honestly waiting for more games I liked to be available on them. So im sorry for the stupid question, but will we only be able to play Fallout 4 on the Switch 2 or would we be able to play it on the Switch lite

    12. Fallout 4 is 30 Gigabytes if I recall correctly, that shit would have absolutely fit on a Gamecard.

    13. Microsoft really needed the extra money guys give them some slack. They just NEED to pump more money into that AI bubble!

    14. Lame. Man, I’m saving a lot of money this generation not buying these bullshit releases.

They *still* haven’t gotten Oblivion Remastered to run well on the big consoles, even PS5 Pro. I can only imagine what a shitshow it’ll be on Switch 2.

I wonder if we can at least transfer our save files from other consoles.

I put in like 200 hours on the ps5 version of oblivion remastered. If I have to start over from scratch, I don’t think I’m picking it up on Switch

If there is no physical release I’m not driving to a store for a code in box when you can just buy directly from the e-shop. Complete waste of the boxes.

    18. An incredibly quick way to lose $180 per physical collector. I love how backtracking to an even cheaper option was their response to an overwhelming number of players frustrated with the “digital future”…

    19. I’ll be honest, I don’t really care. The last time I bought a new physical game was Smash Bros. 3DS. Everything since then has been digital only, save for retro games.
