FWIW it seems like the biggest difference between the two versions is with Switch 2 it can do GameShare including with GameChat, which seems pretty useful for this game.

This was the BEST news of the direct. Super Bomberman 2 was the very first video game I ever owned. I was always so sad I never got to play the sequels. Plus all the art and music….this is a nobrainer for me! AMAZING REVEAL AND DROP! LETS GOOOOK

Oh man, the Switch 2 edition has 4K graphics. I have been dreaming of a day since I was born to be able to play old Bomberman games in 4K.

The AUS eShop pricing is messed up. Currently it’s cheapest to buy the Switch 1 version and then get the upgrade pack rather than just getting the Switch 2 version (if you want the Switch 2 version that is).

Grew up on Bomberman! This should be fun. Sad there is no Saturn Bomberman though, loved the dinosaurs you could ride on in that one!
